As a guide for the learning material, please plan up to eight hours per module, this will allow you to accommodate the learning, research, and assignments. The total time will depend on your current knowledge levels and interest in the module topic.

This unique distance learning program is perfect for aspiring data center campus, local or regional leaders seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills. It is also ideal for those already working as a data center manager aiming to develop as a leader in preparation for their next steps in their organization.

Previous experience in a technical or operational discipline within a data center would be advantageous, in addition to holding professional certifications such as the Certified Data Center Management Professional (CDCMP®), Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP®), Certified Data Center Project Management (CDCPM®), Certified Data Center Sustainability Professional (CDCSP®) and the Certified Data Center Energy Professional (CDCEP®)

As a distance learner, you will also need a suitable computer with internet connection, together with sufficient IT competence to make effective use of word processing, internet and email.

As a distance learner you have access to an experienced and dedicated online support team during your program. Learners are required to have:

  • A laptop or suitable device with unrestricted wireless internet connectivity and a pre-installed web browser
  • A suitable application for opening and reading PDFs. Typically, your device's in-built PDF reader is sufficient
