CNet Training are collaborating with Crossrail and Women Into Construction to help get more women into network cabling.<\/b><\/p>\n
The \u2018Women into Network Cabling\u2019\u00a0project, run by CNet Training in association with Kath Moore at Women into Construction\u00a0is assisting a number of unemployed women who are actively seeking work in the construction industry.\u00a0After an initial interview and assessment day the chosen women\u00a0will attend the CNet Training\u00a0Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI\u00ae<\/sup>)<\/a> program, which is\u00a0the recognised\u00a0certification\u00a0program that has been approved and specified by the sector as the \u2018must-have\u2019 operational level certification\u00a0for those working in Network Cabling. Once completed, those who successfully pass will gain\u00a0the\u00a0official CNCI\u00ae<\/sup> certification\u00a0with full use of the CNCI\u00ae<\/sup> logo, a post nominal title i.e.\u00a0Natasha Smith CNCI,\u00a0plus two optional\u00a0Level 3 BTEC Advanced Award qualifications. The project will also\u00a0guarantee each newly certified lady a two-week\u00a0work placement where they will be considered for possible employment.<\/p>\n The\u00a0ten\u00a0day CNCI\u00ae<\/sup> program will take place at\u00a0CNet Training\u2019s dedicated education facility at\u00a0Barking and Dagenham College.<\/p>\n Women into Network Cabling is run by Women Into Construction, an independent not-for-profit organisation, that provides support to women wanting to work in the construction industry to create a more gender-equal work force.<\/p>\n Watch this space for more news as this project progresses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" CNet Training are collaborating with Crossrail and Women Into Construction to help get more women into network cabling.
