Members will liaise with CNet’s Technical Architect, Adrian Jones and Dr Terri Simpkin, HE & FE Principal at CNet Training to deliberate current and future technical requirements of the data center and network infrastructure sectors, and contribute to the curricula proposed by CNet for education programs throughout the global digital infrastructure education framework. These valuable discussions will ensure program content aligns to international Standards, complies with regulations and codes of practice, reflects current trends and emerging technology, and ensure it meets organisational needs whilst actively contributing to facilitating talented individuals’ professional development.

The creation of the TCAB follows the recent announcement of CNet being named as an Associate College of the renowned Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in Cambridge, UK. This accolade confirms a long-term working relationship with ARU following the outstanding success of the world’s first and only Masters Degree in Data Center Leadership and Management, and provides CNet with responsibility for full delivery of the program. Much of the success of this academically challenging Masters Degree program is contributed to the CNet in-house Masters team who update the content on a rolling basis to ensure it remains relevant to the ever-changing industry, however to help this process they also invite industry leaders to be guest tutors to share experiences which adds tremendous value to learners.

Carrie Goetz, Global Director, Technology at Paige DataCom Solutions says, “I’m delighted and honoured to be part of this amazing team and help shape the curriculum for the future. CNet is a leader in the industry with amazing and thorough technical classes designed to meet the exact needs of the industry and the people within it. I look forward to helping assure there are qualified and certified candidates to fill the massive amount of open positions in facilities and compute.”

It is this external academia rigor and huge support from industry leaders which ensures that CNet’s technical education continues to evolve to the next level and encourages further influencers to contribute to the content of all CNet’s technical education programs. Andrew Stevens, CNet’s CEO adds, “As an organization we are 100% focused on quality and delivering the most unbiased technical education. CNet is the only industry dedicated education provider to be approved by the world’s largest education company, Pearson, to award professional qualifications. This, coupled with our strong focus on quality, proves that we take education seriously. Now, with the finalisation of the Technical Curriculum Advisory Board and the exceptional support we have from leaders throughout the industry, and the world, we can work together to further advance the industry with knowledge, skills and high quality professional development.”

Following quickly on the heels of the announcement that CNet Training has been approved as an Associate College of Anglia Ruskin University, and with the aim of bringing together the technical minds and vision of global industry leaders to help

[1
